Outdated drawing notes to stop using
Notes copied from old drawings carry canceled specifications, old editions of Y14.5 and wording no inspector can check. These are real examples from legacy note sets, with what to use instead.
Values in [brackets] are examples; replace them with your own. Notes marked Verify values rely on common practice; confirm them with your supplier or design engineer. These notes are examples, not an engineering approval of your drawing.
