STP-02

Burr height and direction

Use: every stamped part; burrs cut hands and damage seals and wires.

Watch for: "BURR-FREE" on a stamped edge — unrealistic without a secondary process.

Basis: convention; a common rule of thumb is up to about 10% of thickness. verify

Sheared edge
